Because the size 8 jeans I've been wearing are very loose. I bought them back in 2000 so they're probably a 6 under today's screwed-up sizing. And they're loose!
Does that mean I'm really a 4 now?
Anyway I believe any weight I've lost is water weight from sweating so much on the job. I'll take it anyway.
That's great! I always think the way your clothes fit is a better indicator of how much you've lost as opposed to watching the #'s on the scale (LOL of course I like to see those numbers go down too!!!!)
Personally I think clothing sizes are SO messed up! I can wear a size 18 in Faded Glory, a size 20 in Bobbi Brooks, but CAN'T squeeze into a sz 22 in some other brand (can't remember the name)!!!!
Congrats on the size drop... I always judge how much weight I have lost by the way my clothes fit, it's so nice to have that OMG these jeans that used to be so tight finally fit and are loose kind of feeling
Yeah... all pants sizes are screwy like that...
sometimes I can fit a 10 no problem and then other times I can't even get the 14 up over my big hips!!!! So infuriating!!
Just cruising through here and I gotta tell you, trying on old clothes is my favourite past time now! Especially the ones I was going to throw out by this summer (because they were never goign to fit!).
The jeans sizing is so screwey....I can't stand it.
