Newbie here
Hi everyone, I'm trying to beat the battle of the bulge with the IR diet, something that seems to make the most sense considering my PCOS and hyperinsulinemia. Chances are good I'll be going on met within the next week or two, which is scary but encouraging as it seems like the best outside help I can hope for at the moment. I'll be going off BCP soon in effort to expand my family (not that pregnancy does much for weight loss, but I am realistic enough to know it might take a while and I plan to get healthier by the minute every moment I have to wait) but I am really scared as I have been on the pill(first Diane-35 and now Yasmin) for ten years (originally as a cure of acne, hirutism, irregular periods, and all the other lovely wonders of my pre-diagnosed days).
Oh, I'm also a vegetarian, so any of you veggies out there who have faced the IR diet please share your experiences. I have so many questions!
