Hi everyone,I appreciate all the kindness and help on this site.
I wanted to check in and say My 3 appt went really well in ssf Kaiser,I was told my pre-op weight I needed to lose before seeing a surgeon,so I have another appt in august to see head of bariatrics,and I need about 10 more pounds to get off by then.My appt is august 23,I have been following the 1200 pre0op diet pretty well. I tested myself tonite with having a treat,and I tell you it wasn't worth it.That felt good because I am a sugar addict,and to feel that it didn't give me the same thrill as before was awesome. It's ODAT that' for sure.
Anyways I have been going to local surgery support groups and that is helping me too. I feel pretty confident now that i am making the right decision,sometimes I get scarred still and question myself,but I am really feeling this is a great thing and I am going to do wonderful with all the support here and face to face meetings and I feel wonderful
