Default Everyone weigh in 07/06/07

It's time for those of us here in the States to celebrate our country's freedom. How are we doing on our fight to be free from these unwanted pounds? Join the 3FC weekly general weigh in thread and find out. All are welcome to join, just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around. Good luck, everyone!

Me: 176, down 4 pounds since last week. Hey, I've found a great way to lose weight even while on vacation. It's called "Being sick as a dog to the point where you think about going to a doctor!" So, for the last four days I've had a sore tummy, pretty severe diarrhea, and really not much ability to eat much at all. I'm feeling much better now, though. Onward to next week!

I down 7 lbs from last week! WAHOOO!! I tried to lower my amount of exercise because to up my calories right now, while it's hot, I would be stuffing myself to the gills. So I think giving myself a "rest" day really helps...even though on my "rest" day I actually go for a nice long walk. what can I say? I'm addicted to exercise!

Sigh. I'm holding steady at 132. So that makes it about 8 weeks now that I've been at this weight. My body just does NOT want to give up any more lbs.

Still 163 My weight isn't budging with 20-mile bike rides 4 days a week and 30-minute jogs for 5 with 1,500 calories, so now I'm taking things up a notch: going to the gym for an hour on the days I don't have work: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and making sure I spend 10-15 minutes on my abs - I know "spot reduction" doesn't work, but it is a muscle group that is important to me, and I know that if I do the right exercises to build that muscle group, that I might lose a few inches off my waist (it's happened before), even if the scale number doesn't budge. I can't eat any less, because I love food and I don't feel like I would be alright on less than 1,300 calories (my range was 1,300-1,800 but now it's more like 1,300-1,600).

For some reason, I think my body REALLY LIKES the 160's.

Yay Jay!!!! Yay Tealeaf...hey, sometimes being sick seems to boost our bodies into giving up a couple pounds. It helped me a while back to jumpstart my loss. And i never did gain back the weight i lost that 2 days i was sick either.

Okay...me....i am "technically" up to 156. I don't really count it as a gain though because i have been excersizing like a fiend the past 4 days and my legs are very sore. I figure i must be carrying at least 2 pounds of fluids in my muscles. And i don't see it getting any better over the weekend because i have gym class tonight, there is a class i want to take tomorrow and a class on sunday i want to try. then i have my regular class again on monday. so yeah....i don't see anything but water gain in my future. lol.

220, up a pound from a few days ago, but still going down! We have had no kitchen for 2 weeks (remodel) so we are eating whatever is nuke-able or cold. I'm amazed I'm still losing at all with the chaos!

I'm at 167, so same as last week.

Monday I did see 165, but I had a few drinks last night, so that's why I am holding fluid, I expect my weight to be lower later today as I'm working in the heat all day.

I did try counting my calories this week. It seems I'm hovering around 1600, or 27 points, probably on the high side for me?

I'm at 173.5, down a lb from last week.
I know I should be grateful with losing 1 lb a week, but I really much preferred when it was 2! I think I'm gonna drop my calories a tiny bit and see what happens...

150.5 but I'm rounding up to 151. I'm really shocked. I haven't counted calories in over a week, and on Monday I went to the fair and ate a huge basket of fries, a funnel cake and an elephant ear. I got away with it, muahahaha.

I thought I'd have a hard time getting back on track after that week - but I actually lost two pounds. Hot diggity.

155.5, down 1 lb from last week. I should be happy, but I'm finding that I'm getting more and more impatient the closer I get to my goal, haha.

Congrats to everyone.

I'm down 1lb. from last week (actually it's the pound I gained last week) so I guess technically I should call it even . I'm working real hard this month to get down to my mini goal of 140. I've been working to lose this weight for 8 months (sometimes not so hard) so this is my month to finally get it done!
