Hi everyone, I just found this site and I hope it can give me an added boost to help me get fit. I'm 24 and I want to lose just over 60 pounds to improve my health and my self-confidence. I've suffered from eating disorders in the past so it's a bit daunting for me to learn how to lose weight sensibly and slowly for once (and also to have a sensible weight loss goal) but I hope that I can learn some tips here. Thanks for reading and hope to get to know you all soon

Hello Sugarkane - I've just joined tonight as well. Have tried weight watchers many times and lost weight successfully. Have not dieted for several years now and need to lose at least 2 stone. I am aiming for the 1 stone mark first! I have all the books etc., but am not going to join a meeting as the times of meetings are not convenient and the nearest group is 12 miles away!

Hoping to get support and help from on here instead.

Tomorrow is Day 1.

Hi girls and welcome. I've not been around here for long myself, but its an easy place to fit in and ask what you want to know. Its great that you're overcoming your eating disorder, well done!

I'm so impressed by the fact you've overcome your eating disorder. I havn't. You'd think 6 years would be long enough?! I have some way to go.

Anyway, hello and welcome, and you'll get a lot of very healthy support here. I havn't come across anyone whos been less than lovely.
