Default scales

What kinds of scales do you all use? Also, where did you get them?

I've been scaleless for about a month and I feel like I'm not changing much in weight so I'd like to be able to track myself- but since I have no Target or Walmart nearby (where I'd normally buy anything), I have NO idea where to go. Sports stores maybe? Bed, Bath, and Beyond?

I don't know about the sports places, but BB&B will surely have them. And there's always the internet if you're not where you can shop. I do most of my shopping online. Amazon.com shipping is free over $25.

I just have a plain old analogue (Did I spell that right?) scale because I'm too cheap to buy a digital one. Makes for reading the 7's and 8's a little difficult and I never get any half pound increments, but it works. I got mine at the store here on base, but if I were you I'd hit the Bed, Bath, and Beyond (Although you might get a better price on-line somewhere if you can find a free shipping deal. I just got free shipping on Walmart for shoes for my kids, so check around for on-line deals.)

I have a cheapie from Walmart, and it's not accurate. I'm considering a new scale, but not sure what kind to get. I'm going to check first with Consumer Reports to see what they recommend.

Thanks! I can't get anything shipped here because I live right off of a main street and people get packages stolen all the time. If it's not something that can fit in my mailbox (like Old Navy bags), then I don't order it. It's really annoying actually...

I'll hit up BB&B either today or tomorrow... I just need a reference point because I don't notice how my body changes as I lose weight so it makes it hard for me to adjust.

So I found a scale (and got totally lost in 90+ degree heat in the city for half an hour finding it!) and I am NOT happy with the results :P Despite walking at a fast pace for an hour a day and watching what I eat with minimal slip ups, I haven't lost a pound. In fact, I've GAINED 3ish pounds (I got a dial scale so it's really hard for me to see exact poundage) since my last weigh-in the first week of June. But at least I know now so I can keep adjusting.
