Default counting calories?

i just started core last week and have my weigh in tomorrow and i'm just wondering if it is important to be strict with counting calories? i'm under my weekly points still...i guess i'm just really nervous about tomorrow and am already seeing failure...and looking for ways to improve next week....

Well ... I'm an old member who has been gone for a little while and just came back the other day, but I will attempt to answer.

Sometimes at first they recommend that you keep a little record of your calories to make sure you don't go crazy. While Core isn't limited in amounts per se, it is possible to overeat on healthy foods and still gain.

If you're still under your weekly points and have followed all the guidelines, like water intake and healthy oils, etc. ... and have eaten from the Core list of foods, I think you'll be fine. Don't anticipate a failure!

Be sure and come back with your results if you can!

Any news yet?

And just to clarify what I said last night, you don't have to count calories or points (except for WPAs or APs) or anything like that on Core. I think sometimes people watch it too closely and end up not eating enough, and in turn don't have the losses they would have had. I am the poster child for going thru stalls and plateaus because of eating too little. In the past though, I have had leaders suggest that people new to Core keep a little journal for a week or two to make sure they aren't totally going off on a big binge. Sometimes when people hear "eat unlimited from this certain list of foods", we tend to forget that portion size is still important.

Okay, enough from me. I was hoping that someone else would jump in with an opinion!
