This is where you say something to the leader and have her take care of it. I don't stay for meetings (just go and weigh and leave) though.

Definitely say something to the leader! They will most likely say something at the beginning of the next meeting like "There's been a lot of chatter during the meeting, and I'd really like that to stop" or bring it to the attention of the specific people who do it. Don't be afraid to speak up! I've had to do that before and the leader has ALWAYS been helpful.

If the same people do it weekly even after a warning then point them out.

We were chatting with a girl at the official W/W board who was claim discrimination because she was asked to leave cuz her child was disruptive. (no discrimination it wasn't a mommy/daddy&me meeting but that is a whole other story) and she couldn't understand how her child was disruptive to others cuz it didn't both her. She didn't understand how people could have reported her. OH well...again a whole other story.

Hey Kelly --- I pay for my meetings and I feel I'm entitled to hear. I'm very bold and will put my hand up and say, "Sorry, I didn't hear what that lady said, could you please repeat it?" It pretty much shuts them up.

If that doesn't work talk to your leader after the meeting --> (I remember as a leader we were taught to go right to the chatting member and ask if they had something to share) I know how frustrating it can be and yes, you do get po'd! After all you are there to learn something and wish they would just shut up!
