Default Question about the knees???

Okay...so i've been taking this Ultra Do-All class now for 6 weeks. I just started about 2 weeks ago with my knees starting to hurt. It hurts when I have to stand up and they hurt when i have to sit down. My right knee more than my left. I am doing the same excersizes we have been doing. We do alot of lunges on and off of the steps. The only thing i can think of that has really changed is that I took the riser out from under my step. My step now sits on the floor because my thighs were getting so sore. Should I put the risers back under it or what/?? What do you think might be causing my knees to hurt during the week??

Mine are feeling *really* sore today. They have been behaving admirably since I re-started working out a couple of months ago--today is the first time they have bothered me since the first week. (They do, however, have a history of being very troublesome. I always have to ice-and-ibuprofen myself through the re-beginning of a workout regimen.)

I did weighted squats at the gym today for the first time (I found these excellent foam bars of varying weights. So cool!). Correlation? Does this suggest that there is a problem with my form, or just that I have moved too quickly with the squats?

Could be a bit of both, really... Have you ever had a PT look at you while doing them? To let you know if you are doing squats properly or not....

Glucosamine, helps me 100%... Dh had sore knees too and I recommended it to him, after 6 weeks, the sore knees were gone I recommended it to 2 g/f's and they loved it too .... I know that if I miss taking them for a week I can feel my knees acting up...

Not a problem sweetie, I had to dig it up like 6 pages back or something like that, then Ilene decided to sticky it.
