Default Want to introduce myself

Hello.

DH and I officially re-started WW on our own a week ago. After having my 7 yr old son, I tried WW and lost over 20 pounds. Then after my 5 yr old son was born, DH and I tried again. I did good again and DH did lose over 40 pounds. But...the weight went back on and more came with it. Now I'm almost at my heaviest when I was pregnant. So DH and I have decided enough is enough.

I just had major surgery 5 weeks ago and will be returning to work on Monday. I figured starting now would be good. I am nervous about going back to work because I think that's where my downfall has been in the past. I'm hoping with having the support from family and this site, it will help me on those tough days.

I've been staying within my daily points and have not used any Flex points. I also have been drinking my daily required water and walking on the treadmill for 2 miles every morning. I do sometimes us my activity points but not every day. I lost 10 pounds since the surgery and kept it off for the first 4 weeks while recovering. I did my first wi on Monday and lost 1 pound. I also lost 1 inch on my waist and hips and 2 inches on my thighs. I've already been able to wear some clothes that I haven't in months.

I look forwarding to getting to know everyone and making this a lifetime journey for better health!

Default Welcome!

I'm fairly new around here myself, but wanted to welcome you!

Congrats on your loss so far.

I stay at home, but I find if I get bored I munch on bad stuff. I imagine if I worked, I would be very tempted by the yummy birthday celebrations, the candy dish in so-and-so's office, and lunch out.

Do you have the take-out guide? It lists points of lots of different places so you could agree to go out, then plan ahead what you will order? Also, my dh has found that packing his lunch everyday really helps him resist temptation.

Good luck!
