Hey there ladies.

Not a lot of time to post, but I thought that I'd pop my head in and say "hi". Work continues to be a pain in the bum, causing me more stress than I want to even consider. I think what bothers me the most is the fact that we had a beautifully sunny weekend here and I could convince myself to do NOTHING outdoors. I just find myself so tired, all the time.... (Take this morning, I'm a half hour behind already because I found the snooze button.)

Eating has been horrible (again) and I can't seem to find my will power or my motivation. The worst part is that I seem to be using the "there's always tomorrow" crutch as an excuse for poor eating all the time now. I'm just not sure how to shake this feeling and get back on track.

Anyway, just wanted to get a post in and a and a to you all.

Good Morning Everyone

Well today is the day. IEP day! I am not nervous Just somewhat nervous about controlling me temper!!

As far as the weekend. My daughter and I went to Billings sat because of the home that was burned across the street. Cassie goes to her specialist this week actually on friday we go back to billings.

My oldest was a royal butt yesterday. I was some what upset I wanted to do some family stuff yesterday. My husband thought that would be good too. Chris then started to call me stupid and liar etc. Well needless to say that argument got somewhat heated. Instead of my husband giving chris the nice parent slap across his naughty mouth he was complaining and yelling at me. I about fell over. We finally talked last night but I have to say mommy put the breaks on a few things. The cell phone got shutoff, and he got grounded. I am out of ideas for this kid. He was rude to his uncles he respects no one. I think I need to have him Drug tested so this week I am going to suprise him with one. I honestly hope he isn't doing this but his moods are worse that 100 of us women with a case of major PMS.

It was beautiful here yesterday I did get in some yard work. Did nothing around the house so I will have to make up for it this morning.

Rooster: I have been there and I call it "The bummer". Try getting in a walk each day if you can, you will get your groove back. Sorry work sucks!

RR: Sounds like you had a busy weekend. Hopefully today you can catch your breath just a bit.

By the way Tried the Mike's hard ice tea! Just incase any one was wondering how that was.........YUCK!

Have a great day

MORNING EVERYONE!!!! Yo, Yo, what is up tho?

Ok, well....weight is @ a standstill. I'm going to call the dr. this morning and beg for an increase in the dosage...I have a month to go before the next blood draw, but this is ridiculous...back to sleeping a lot and had to take a nap on Saturday! Pitiful!

Anyway, got LOTS of sun this weekend! I put down fertilizer, grass seed, drove in some fertilizer spikes for Droopy and Big Dawg (Maple Tree #1 and Maple Tree #2). My little guy that mows my lawn (whole thing for only $5) came and my yard is looking stronger than last year!!!! Yeeehaw! Well, I could tell that I didn't do a great job spreading the grass seed last year because I did it by hand using a Solo cup...so there are sprigs here and there and bald spots here and there! So, I bought a hand spreader Friday to use this year.

Then, I read in the sunshine for a couple hours each day and painted my little piggie wiggies. OH! Did go for a long hard walk yesterday followed by abs on the ball. When I got back from the walk, though, my fingers were swollen to about the size of a juicy grilled bratwurst! No, I'm totally serious-that concerned me and I almost went to the dr. 'cause it freaked me out! Anyone have any clue what the heck is up w/that??? Hmmm...after soaking them for about 20 minutes in ice water they started to shrink, but it was creepy!

Joan: Ok, you are my twin sister separated @ birth! Mushroom Brie? YUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Also, I have Peels in my fridge right now...I can't remember exactly but I think it's Blackberry w/Pomegranete (sp?). Tasty, but I'm still a Corona chickie.

GG: I don't know gurl.....my legs are stumpy and chunky, but I think I can definitely kick some booty!!! LOL

Ok all, I have much more to write, but well......I have to go to the bathroom. YUP, TMI!!!!

Love All, BACK ATCHA IN A SPELL! Melinda

morning all..well work is starting off very slow...in fact as of right now..my only apt for the day was at 8am...already saw it and now just chilling. Guess i shouldn't complain. So i've gotten myself somewhat motivated to get back to the working out thing. I sort of have slacked off for the last 1.5 wks. I didn't make my 5.30 call to work out..but i'm definately doing it tonight...no if's and's or butt's. I feel like i've been way better moods this week. I even packed a great lunch/snack with nothing but healthy stuff...and last nights dinner has left overs for the week and it was healthy...there for i have NO excuses.
RR - sounds like you were a very busy mom this weekend...but i bet the kids had a great time!!!!!
roo - hang in there bud...i really agree with Shiela..maybe a walk a day will help...and if you can't do that..maybe go see someone..maybe you're in a bit of a depression or are sick...the chronic tiredness is definately a sign of either an illness or depression. And please don't take that personally, we just are all concerned about you. Hope you feel better though. Good luck! BTW how'd the train thing go?
Shiela i hope you day goes ok..sorry about your son being a butt...maybe a drug test isn't such a bad idea...I do have to admit...when i was a teenager i went through my difficult rebel stage with my mom...but i was never on drugs. but you never know.
MJ - hands you a mountain dew to start the day LMAO...have a great day.
Karen- my horse's name is Dunny..sort of a silly name since he's a dun colored quarter horse...but i never changed it when i bought him..and it just sort of stuck. Very sweet boy...and i'm very happy that the house we are looking at has a barn 3 miles away...woohoo
all else...hope you have great day. Eat well...and stay motivated....
As you can tell..i'm definately out of my rutt!!!!!!! back to my old annoying motivating self..woohooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm on the same page as GG... I set my alarm for 5:30 but couldn't get my can out of bed. However, I will exercise tonight. I took a walk last night and it felt so good. I'm meeting my aunt and cousin this morning for breakfast and because I'm so hungry I went ahead and just ate a luna bar and a banana. I'm really going to try hard this week to get back on track.

Happy Monday Everyone ~ Joan

Good morning everyone!! I am getting myself back on track this week. Last week I let everything go and I was so tired and draggy. So I get up, take the thyroid med and then do chores while I wait to be able to eat breakfast. Today I made all the beds, made DH's coffee and ut his lunch together, dusted my room and started cleaning off my dresser (poor thing looks like it's moving). Now I'm working on the never ending laundry pile.

Sheila: Good luck at the meeting. I hope it goes well. Sounds like you have a handle on DS. You aren't letting him get away with the back talk. If I had called my Mom names like that I would have been backhanded across the room. Probably twice, once from her and then from Dad when he found out.

GG: I like his name. He sounds like a very sweet horse. I hope today isn't too slow. Good for you for packing the good stuff for lunch.

RR: Busy weekend!! Sounds like it was fun.

OK laundry is calling me!

Ok....so I've decided that if the nurse calls back and says that he will not increase my meds again until after the next blood draw (ONE MONTH from now), I'm going to just take a double dose of my synthroid ANYWAY! This whole thing about testing every 2 months is INSANE!!!!!

Christina: Sorry, I know you didn't ask me and I'm butting in...but this is sooooo on my mind right now. If you don't take your synthroid, nothing bad will happen. I mean, your body went however long w/o the thyroid working to produce the hormone, so one day shouldn't set you back. Although, you might feel less energy. I have my fingers crossed on your weigh in!

Roo: Ditto what GG said! We love you sweetpea and really want you to start feeling better! RU sure you're not hypo too?

Karen: Geez! You always fit more in each morning than I can muster most days in all my waking hours!

Sheila: RU sure it's not something else medically rather than possible drug use (though I know you mentioned that you don't really think he's taking anything)?

Joan: 5:30? Oh my gosh, if I'm not up by 5:00 I can't make it here by 7ish! Although....like Roo....I find the snooze button so much I often shoot up in a panic @ 5:30! LOL

GG: I am soooooo gonna check on you about working out tonight! Otherwise, it's come to mama for your spankin'!!!!

Lisa: Was it gorgeous out this weekend for you too? I really hoped we would get the rain they were calling for....so my grass seed would get wet and the deck wash would clear itself off.

OMG! This guy just called me, swearing that I'd better watch out because when he comes down for jury duty he's going to make me and my staff regret summoning him for service. HELLOOOOOOOO.....what is up with this planet? He should move to a State where they make you serve a few weeks @ a time-here it's ONLY ONE DAY or one trial. GEEZ! Get me a drink.......

Good morning all!
Sound like everyone had a busy weekend.
I had a good weekend, dh was home so it gave me a huge break in taking care of Sean, it sure makes a bid difference wow!
Last night I was cooking dinner and I chopped my fingers with a very sharp knife, it sucks! and it hurts!
DS already left to school, this weekend we gave him 1/2 the doses of Ritalin to see if it was making any difference or if it was not doing anything at all. Well, we don't know if it was a fluke or true, but he was doing better in a lower dose, it seems like the Ritalin makes him more agitated. This meds thing is driving me up the wall! wish me luck!

Lauren
I am keeping your mom on my prayers and a prayer for the surgeon to have blessed hands! keep us posted!

Christina
I am so glad your little boy is doing better! yeah!!! good for you for catching up on some rest!!!

Rooster Keep your chin up, don't let work get you so down, I agree with the idea of getting out and walking a little, a Little fresh air can do a big difference!

Karen sound like you had a busy weekend! i wish you a great week ahead!

IrishJoan try to eat healthy this week, keep motivated

GG Sound like you are starting the week off right! good for you! I wish you not a hectic day!

Melinda what's up with your fingers? I am glad you had a nice weekend and that the weather was cooperating!

RR have a good week, wow you sure had a busy weekend!

Sheila Good luck at the IEP, I know how that is, trying to stay calm its very hard! you can do it!!! Sorry to hear about your oldest. I think a DT is a great idea. Sorry you have to do it, but in the long run is great!

I got to go, I have an appointment with the trainer at the gym!!!!

I will check in later!

Have a great day everyone!

Hello all,

MJ, the weekend was great! 80 degrees both days. Woo Hoo Mom and I worked in the yard on Sat. We pulled out a bush by the garage. Yes you heard me "Pulled out!" Spent about 5 hours outside. Saw an article asking a doctor about swelling in the hands ~ Dr suggested drinking something like Gatorade about 1/2 hour before walking.
Oh and Toledo has 2 days, whereas Cleveland OH has jury duty for a whole week! And you have to be there whether you are called for a case or not. The week that I was called, I was on 3 jurys for the week! Tell the guy he should be greatful! THERE!

GG, Your horse is beautiful. I was wondering if it was a quarterhorse. I am glad that you enjoyed your weekend so well.

RX, I know what you mean about this weekend. I felt really down too. All I wanted to do was sleep. I found that when I went outside and started working, I felt better physically and also mentally. I agree, try walking again on lunch breaks.

Lauren, Your mom and you are in my prayers. Let us know how the surgery goes.

RR, don't sound so excited about going to work. Sounds like a busy weekend, try and rest up for next weekend.

to everyone else that I missed.

well mj - i did some exercise...at lunch i went to a near by park and walked for 40 min..now i didn't get too crazy..since i didn't want to smell (walked in my work clothes) but at least i got out. I will plan to do more strenuous work out tonight...but at least it gave me a little something.
Hey there Lisa- yep he's a quater horse and thanks for the compliment. Hope you aren't sore from the yard work..it always seems that i'm sore the next day.
Happy - glad to hear that so far the lower dose of meds are working well...keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Way to go GG!!!!!!! Get out there and SHAKE THAT MONEY MAKER GURL!

Lisa: Sounds like gram & you got a lot of work done! That's awesome. Oh, and thanks for the info. on the hand swelling! That totally makes a bunch of sense now that I think about it....I downed a huge coffee before I went out....NOT water. Maybe the caffeine did it? YIKES! That is scary! Now, if I could pick and choose what would swell...it certainly would NOT be my fingers...or my backside either...

Lauren:

Hanna: Oh my gosh little pumpkin! Are you sure you don't need stitches? I hate when that happens! I'm fine helping others out when they bleed...but when I do I completely freak! Good luck getting that dosage right! Meds....can't live with 'um, can't live without 'um it seems!

OK ALL!!! SO THE DR. APPROVED AN INCREASE OF MY MEDS BY ANOTHER 50!!! AND.......HE WANTS ME TO STAY ON THE HIGHER DOSE FOR ANOTHER 2MONTHS BEFORE DOING THE NEXT BLOOD DRAW....GEE, WAIT AN ADDITIONAL MONTH TO HAVE AN INTERN JAM A NEEDLE INTO MY ELBOW BECAUSE SHE CAN'T FIND THE VEIN....DOESN'T BREAK MY HEART ANY!!!

Ok...time to get some more work done....you know who went home sick AGAIN today (5th time this year already). GRRRRR... Melinda

I went on a walk with the kids! Well, I walked, they rode in the wagon. Durn, that thing gets heavy going up the hill. Thankfully it is a short hill. Then I took Alex to a cul-du-sac to ride his bike. He was more interesed in picking dandelions so it wasn't as much exercise for me. Although I was almost running to keep up with him when he was on a small decline. Not an easy thing to do while pushing a stroller!

MJ: Yay on the med increase. I hope it helps. I'm new to this thyroid thing. I get checked in June. I feel a lot better when I get up and get going right away. Otherwise I sit with Cassie and doze while she nurses. I hate the way that makes me feel.

Lisa: I have two bushes that need to come out, wanna come on over and tackle that with me? I'm kinda sad they have to come out, they made a good screen from the house next door.

Hanna: I'm glad you got a little break. I hope the meds keep working for DS.

Christina: I'm brand new to the thyroid meds, so I don't know what happens when you miss a dose. I missed mine yesterday and wasn't sure if I should take it later or not, so I just skipped it. I didn't notice any extra tiredness or anything.
