That's beautiful! I have one from several years ago that my DD got for me. I cherish it. (my stones are much smaller though!)

This year however, I hinted I wanted some good walking shoes! Sooo.....she already gave me one pair (and I am getting a 2nd pair) of these for my mother's day! If you've never tried the Ecco brand of shoes....WOW are they great! These are the Ecco Receptor's. I LOVE them!

Oh I love shoes!! Too bad I have too many, I'm not a mother but my birthday is coming up. I asked for a Bosu ball but I might change my mind considering I just bought myself some cookware yesterday that costs more than a Bosu ball

Pretty ring! Nice shoes!
I'm not sure what I might get for mother's day. I love it when they give me plants for outdoors. I lost the snowball bush they gave me last year... ok, I killed it... maybe they'll replace that for me.

Great ideas for Mother's Day! You guys are very lucky!!!

Gotta tell you guys about my Mother's Day 1997... My husband and two sons woke me up early. They had me come downstairs to open my presents. I LOVE presents! I put on my robe and went down into the livingroom. There were a bunch of nicely-wrapped presents sitting there. The first one I opened was a HUGE griddle. The second one was a box filled with Bisquick, a new glass measuring cup, and a new pancake turner. The third present was a bag containing eggs, pure maple syrup, butter, and orange juice.

I was very polite and pretended to love everything. My family went off to do their thing, leaving me to make my own Mother's Day breakfast. Of course, as a MOM, I made a great breakfast for ALL of us and never told my family how sad and USED their presents made me feel that day as other moms were getting pretty gifts that didn't require more WORK to be done.

Since that Mother's Day I have purchased my own Mother's Day presents!

Beautiful ring!

Cheryl, Oh gee.....That was pretty bad. I read it to my DH and DD and warned them - don't ever do this. I may not be as nice as Cheryl was.

Beautiful ring! What a great way to incorporate both birthstones!

Great shoes too! Do they make them in a wide?

My b-day is the week after Mothers Day, so I don't get double gifts. I'm happy with a card and I take my kids to dinner...so I don't have to cook! For my b-day, my daughter wants to get me a queen size air mattress for camping, so I can give her the twin one I am using! (smart girl!)

Cheryl - I understand how sad that must have been. I doubt (being men) that the thought even occured to them....and I'm sure they only meant nice....but sometimes they're just so DARN DENSE!!!!

Here's to great Mother's Days for all of us who are, have been, will be, have, or have had moms!

Cheryl, they were probably really proud that they could figure out all of the ingredients that you would need!
It is amazing that they didn't figure out to make breakfast for you!! Oh well!
