Default how much water do you drink?

Just wondering how much water everyone drinks per day?

I've heard before 1/2 ounce per pound so basically 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water.. that seems like soooo much. (I'm 240 so would be drinking 120 ounces of water.. I really don't think I can do that)

thanks!

I average 80 to 100 ounces. I drink it by the 20 ounce bottles and I never get less than 3 and usually 4-5 bottles a day. I will try to do more than that for the next few days since I made a lot of bad choices over the weekend.

Back in November I had a personal trainer who told me 10 cups a day. I did that some days but mostly get 1&1/2 litres to 2 litres in a day. Somedays it seems alot harder than others to drink all that water.

I try to always get my 64 oz in, but usually it ends there. I'm trying to aim for 80 oz this week. I think the minimum is 64 oz. I know that I feel better when I'm well hydrated.

I don't really count but I can say that I've had about 48 oz of liquid today so far. I think getting in somewhere around 100 won't be a problem for me today. I drink unsweetened iced and water as my liquid.

I easily drink 10 -12 glasses of water a day. I really miss it when I don't get it in on the trips we take.

I drink a ton of water. I have a 48 oz bottle at work that I fill in the morning, and then once or twice more.. at the gym I drink another 20 oz or so. I really like to.. it fills me up, and keeps me from snacking.

So between 100-150 oz a day, I'd say... I'm trying to get closer to 150

I have a 24 oz bottle that I fill 3 times, so 72 oz's at least. I make myself do that much and any other that I get is just a plus.

I usually shoot for the half body weight amount. Some days it's more and some less, but on average, yeah, about 110 ounces.

I have no trouble getting in my water every day. I drink at least 96oz daily (sometimes more), and often have two or three cups of peppermint tea.

I usually have 3-4 liters of water a day. If it's hotter, and I am walking outside and/or working in the yard, I can easily DOUBLE that on those days.

I do between 100-150 oz a day, but I love water, I have no problem drinking it all day long.

Cool

I'm at about 60 ounces a day plus however much from the melted ice. Straight, plain water is the quickest way to unbelievable heart burn for me. It's like the water gets under the stomach acid to float it and holy moly does that hurt. A pinch of sweetener and a squeeze of lemon, no issues. Probably not the best way to drink it, pretty sure there are other issues I'm causing by doing that, but it's currently the only way that works for me.

Interestingly enough, without at least a liter a day do I gain weight! Water retention sucks and takes forever to reverse.

For me, it's 2 to 3 L/day (about 10 to 14 cups) but that includes all my liquids. To some, I'm adding protein shake or soluble fibre powders, and some others include weak green or herbal teas. I'm not eating much, so all that liquid is necessary to keep me feeling full, just like so many other members have already posted.
