Welcome to the site! Congrats to you on your weight lose. I know losing weight is hard work and we want the world to notice. There may be two reasons that someone isn’t commenting on your weight.
1. They may think it is rude to comment on someone’s weight. Some people have had some bad experiences when simply asking someone: "Have you lost weight?" You would be surprised. Us regular people would be trilled but there are some "meanies" that have put some people in their place and shamed them from asking other people unless they feel they have that type of relationship with the person.
2. Some people don't notice that type of thing. They are oblivious to their environment. I lost 50lbs before some people noticed OR said anything. In fact, one of my coworkers commented on my weight and said that she noticed earlier but didn’t know how I would feel if she said something
Has anyone asked if you have gotten your hair cut or colored? Sometimes people think that is the culprit when it is really weight lose
Anyway...
It is not healthy to fast on Thursday for Friday’s weigh in. In fact that may have something to do with the plateau. The body is a machine it has to be fed to work properly and that includes dieting.
We all hit plateaus from time to time. Maybe you can change you diet around or your exercise routine. Some of the other forums on here can probably give you some more ideas. This place has so much valuable information!
