Default 5 days in

Today is my 5th day into my weight loss lifestyle plan.

AND I'VE LOST 2 KG (4.4 pounds)

In 5 days I have only had breakfast lunch and tea, plus a piece of fruit and about 2 -3 cups of tea / coffee (decaf) (A big change from the 6 - 8 cups).

Yesterday I was headache free for the first time in months.

It was hard the first 2 nights as I was walking in the evening but found I tossed and turned all night. So I have changed to a morning walk. (which is harder pushing the baby pram)

I've walked every day, and yesterday (day 4) was the first time I had walked for 30 minutes and not felt pain.

Hopefully I can keep it up. I know I won't always have that huge loss every week, but its a start and can only get better from here.

My goal is to monitor what I eat and have a small treat only once a fortnight.
I aim to reward myself with every 5 kg lost with something to pamper me, be it a massage, pedicure, or new hairstyle. The money I save on junk food and takeaways will pay for it.

Good luck to all who are beginning their journey and congrats to all who have started losing weight or reached their goal and beyond.

Great job! Getting started is seriously the hardest part. Then eating healthy and exercising just becomes part of your normal life. Good luck on your journey

Good luck and congrats. I agree taking the first step to make the changes is a hard one. You are well on your way. Remember there will be hard dasy ahead. Just say tomarrow is a new day.
