I did the Cambridge diet a year ago and lost about a stone, sadly put it all back on again! (I just like food too much) it does work though and I have friends who have maintained their losses. They just go back on the diet for a couple of weeks if they put weight on. Good luck with it!

I've just received the form I need my doctor to fill in in order for me to start on Lighterlife which I believe is much the same as Cambridge. Couldn't get an appointment with my dr until next Wednesday though so am ringing tomorrow to see if I can get an earlier appointment with our practice nurse.

Good luck with the Cambridge, I look forward to hearing how you're all doing.

I did Lighterlife a couple of years ago and lost 6 stone, but have put back 4 of them!

I also tried Cambridge diet after first putting on weight after a major operation and found it much better, the flavours were better and it was loads cheaper.

I did have an amazing counsellor when I did Lighterlife and she helped (they are not all that good!), but the price put me off eventually. I actually did the training to be a Locum.

I am now doing the Slimming World diet to get rid of the weight I put back on, as the only thing I craved when I did the diet was fruit!

Good luck..............it does work and you do see amazingly fast results. It did only take me 6 months to lose 6 stone!
