Wink newbie

hey everyone,

i'm not new to 3fc but i'm new to the 20-something section. i fell off the wagon a while ago and for some reason the other day i started to eat healthy again, i didnt plan it, i just did it. weird i know. i'm currently a sophmore in college and my 21 b-day is coming up. i'm planning a trip back to my home town where all my friends will get back together and have fun, go to the beach etc... i have a crazy workout plan that i'm going to try and do. i'm ganna start with cardio every morning 60-90 mins. the days that i only have one class i will either workout after that class or go back to do weights. the weekend i'm ganna put in an extra 30 mins and relax in the sauna. a lil crazy, but my friends havent seen me in 3 years and i dont wanna look like i used to. anyways i'm always up for buddies or advice on anything. feel free to send me a messege anytime.

Brittni

to 20-somethings! that sounds like a very ambitious workout plan! Maybe give yourself one day off a week so you don't get burned out too quickly and to let your muscles have a break. What is your plan for eating?

denice81- i dont really have a plan, but its just eat about 4 oz of lean protien with every meal (except maybe breakfast since i usually feel sick then lol) and then just load my plate up with veggies, have fruit for desert and eat some healthy nuts. my biggest problem is getting the grain in there. i havent been able to find a lot of healthy grains yet. know of any???

Brat - welcome! I'm a carb addict, so usually at least one meal a day has wheat pasta or rice. It's a good, healthy way to go if you want to add some grains .

And I'm agreeing with what was said above, your workout plan does sound very ambitious. Don't take it to hard or too fast on yourself - remember, healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs a week. And that's a lot more than you think, when it adds up.. I know from personal experience, looking back over the past 5 months, and seeing how much I have lost, it seemed to go really fast! So I agree with taking at least one day as a break, and also maybe doing shorter sessions on a day or two. You dont want to wear yourself out!

Welcome Brittni!

Hope you have a great stay here in 3fc. I'm the od here in 20-somethings, if you need anything let me know and private messege me [that way I'll be sure to get it]

Come and join in on our Feb. Challenge [located in the top threads in the sticky section]

I agree with the peope above, give yourself a break in between days, especially during strength training. Also make sure to incorporate raw veggies, because their nutrients are better than cooked veggies.

Keep up the good work!
