I'm going to be buying some Luna bars today but have no idea which ones taste the best. I'm leaning toward chocolate flavours, as opposed to fruity ones. Any Luna eaters out there have any feedback for me?
I do the Kashi bars vs Luna and like those the best. They have a chocolate peanut and a chocolate caramel (most of the bar, however, is a high fiber cereal). Not only do I love these, but Walmart sells them 4 to a box for $3.60, which is pretty good. Another new favorite are these Pria Carb Select bars...a little more chocolately, and cost about $1.40 each.
Hey Nicole! It's good--been super busy at work--silly kids, and it's just too early for some of this behavior. I'm great--still no change in the weight but I'm okay with it--it's not like I'm eating POP and staying the same so I have nothing to gripe about. I am trying to keep up with the reading--mostly just the monthly thread so I'm glad I caught your post. I'll pop in and actually post probably tomorrow--so far I only have 3-4 but it could change in a hurry.
what are the price ranges for the Luna's or the Kashi bars? Which are better and more like the lites? I had 2.5 cases of LA Lites when I stopped the plan in July, but I sold them on ebay because I didn't know when I was going to be joining again, so I plan on telling my COD that I still have those cases so I can just buy Luna's for a while without getting "hassled" about buying bars for a while.
I haven't tried most of the Luna's so, I think I'll do those first. And if I don't like those, I'll try the Kashi's. It'll be nice to try a different brand of bars for a change..as I'm still a bit burnt out on the LA bars.
i was at walmart tonight and was comparing some of the lunas and found that a few of them have a few more fat grams than some of the others. I could only find the peanut butter cookie one, chocolate peppermint, lemon zest, caramel brownie and nutz over chocolate ones. I got one of each so i can try them out, but planned on going to sam's club to get an assortment box. but the ones at walmart were on sale for $.50 each instead of $.98 each. but i didn't know if the ones with a few more fat grams would be a big deal or not to my plan.
