Default Thank you for your service to our country

I do not want this thread to turn into anything relating to this war. It doesn't matter if you are for it or against it. This isn't about it.

This is for any service people on here and/or their families.

Thank you for putting yourself on the line.

Thank you for doing something that you do not have to do. Unlike others before you, you volunteered for this.

Thank you to the families. They try and maintain here at home while you are who knows where and under what type of conditions.

I, for one, do not want you to come home and feel disgraced like our Vietnam War veterans did. I do not want anyone to spit at your feet because of your service.

It's because of you and the many before you that we can have this board and say whatever we wish without fear.

If you are deployed, may you come home safely.

You remain in my prayers.

Amen. My son is in the Army Reserves and expecting to be sent overseas anytime. His unit is gearing up. I know there are many of us 3FC members here who have family in the military. I pray for each of them to be safe.

Another Amen here! My son is in Iraq and I pray everyday. Not just for his safety and well being but for all the men and women serving and their families.

And thank you for this post. It is nice to see the support.

It's nice to remember that no matter how we feel about this, the soldiers are out there doing their jobs, for us.

One of our friends just returned, we are thankful and pray, not only for his safety, but for all troops and allies.
