Ok, so I went ot one of the healthfood stores around here and picked up a few packets (bought singles...) got 3 of them. Just the mix itself is 2 points - added to milk would be 3 points.
So that's not too bad - and I LOVE shakes...I haven't tried one of them yet - but I'm curious if any of you have used a protein shake in the morning for breakfast or anything and how long it holds you over for. Thanks!
BTW - I do work out 5 - 6 times a week and I NEED my protein in the morning...of course though usually that means egg beaters or boca sausage...something with "substance" to it...
Curves sells great protein powder, I love 'em with either a banana blended in, or 1Tbsp. peanut butter. Great for breakfast, although mine...are high in pts, so I don't drink them often.
I drink carnation instant breakfast sometimes in the mornings. Especially if I have to get up really early. I can't eat that early, but I can tolerate the shakes and they hold me over until lunch. I haven't tried any other kinds. I might have to.
