NSV = Non Scale Victory

It represents other successes, like inches lost, resisting temptation, exercising for example.

For me, resisting a coffee with double cream is a NSV each day..lol.

I had one yesterday...my husband insisted on going out to the Chinese Buffet for lunch. I didn't want to go, but I did. They have a new Hibachi grill there, so I decided to try that and loved it! I had chicken, scallops and broccoli grilled with just a touch of garlic sauce...yummy! Then I had pineapple and cantelope for dessert. I didn't even look at the buffet bar because I didn't want to be tempted. I even left feeling satisfied.

WTG Tina! Any time you face a buffet and come out on the winning side is cause to celebrate. Let's have a party... with cake! (Just kidding, that's what DH always says when I hit a milestone)

Speaking of cake...I've been thinking about a theme for my DD's 3rd Birthday which is in March. I'm already looking forward to the cake

We did DS's 3rd birthday at a McDonalds that had an indoor play place. Even though it's the south, you never know if you're going to get a cold front, if it would rain, or high winds (which is what happened at a party we went to the week before at a park). We had 12 kids, plus paid for the adults, and the whole thing was around $150. Party was under 2 hours, which is great for kids this age, and they had a blast sliding and running in the tubes, etc. It was simple, fund and affordable.
