Yep - I'm well chuffed but was finding I was losing that initial 'rush' of enthusiasm which is why I'm switching diet plans and moving over to Rosemary Conley this Thursday. I'm hoping that it'll be like 'sweeping with a new broom' and kick start my motivation again.
I've got 4st (55lb) to go which is a whole lot better than the 12st I had to start off with so I just have to really focus and see this thing through.
Nice to meet you - looking forward to getting to know you better
You've come so far it's incredible. You're literally unrecognisable from where you started. People like you really do make me wonder why i'm so cr*p at achieving any weight loss. Anyhow, I'm following the R Conley diet prinicples re calories and fat % etc although I'm not going to the club cos I'm tight! (for tight read lazy). Good luck and keep going!
Not going to the class means you'll need all the support you can get on here Doughnut - just shout if the going gets tough .... I'm all ears and have pretty broad shoulders (not as broad as they were though! )
There's a few of us doing RC (me included) and if you're in need of motivation we've also got an Easter Challenge thread going - sort of 13 weeks to reach a goal of your own choice - please, please feel free to join in. It really does help to have someone to diet with and all of us here are or have been in the same boat as you.
Thanks Treezuk
I'm looking forward to starting RC. I did it before a few years ago and found it worked better than any of the others - mainly because of the exercise class which I think is what makes RC so different. I think it's great to tone up whilst you slim down
