As I do research I am getting the impression that one advantage to the lap-band is that there is less of a problem with regain because you can just get a fill to get back to the proper restriction??
It's true for me. Although I've heard of people regaining with both surgeries, for me the lapband has helped immensely, because I can easily maintain my weight with proper restriction. Now if I'd just get busy and get the rest of my weight off I'd be in business, but at least there hasn't been any regain.
