can't change password

Hello,
I am unable to change my password via the control panel. It says it changes it, but it does not work and the old password can still log me in. I tried to get the reset link via the "forgot password" option, but it claims I failed the captcha. I've tried the password reset probably 10 times and every time I get the failed captcha message. Could I get assistance with resetting my password?
