Mods: Section for those with EDs?
 

Hi, mods!
I think this is where I post a question...
I was wondering if there was any way there could be a section or thread created for those with eating disorders. This would in no way be a pro-ED section/thread. As someone who has struggled with EDs most of my life, I am frustrated by some of the advice given to me by those who are well-intentioned but have no idea what kind of struggles I deal with as someone with an ED. It would just be nice to talk to other people who have gone through or are going through a similar struggle. I know there is a section for Chicks in Control, and I was considering posting the thread there, but I didn't want to break the forum rules since I know 3FC is all about healthy weight loss. I didn't want someone to get the wrong idea that I was encouraging ED behavior or anything like that. I would just like more support from those who actually get that it's not a matter of willpower but is mostly a mental thing. I just wish I had somewhere to ask others how they have been successful or to share insights I may uncover as I am going through this journey.
