Norton Warnings

I'm getting warnings from my Norton that this site is not safe. It has a list of 28 computer threats associated with it. If an admin wants to PM me, I'm happy for forward the complete list I'm getting, if it would be helpful.

Just an FYI.

I guess this would work too: http://safeweb.norton.com/report/sho...3fatchicks.com

I see the "threats" are coming from blogs and not necessarily 3fc itself though I could be mistaken but anyway, I have never ever had an issue with my antivirus and 3FC ever and I am here a lot.

It's not something I'm worried about, just as a website owner I know these things need to be tended to quickly or they can hurt your site in the long run. Just thought I'd let the admins know is all. I'm still getting the red "x" and pop up warnings.

I wonder if it could be ad related? I have an ad blocker so I never see any ads. Just a guess but again, I could be way off :D

And yes, I agree, they do need to know. I was just letting on that I have never had any issue with 3FC at all, that's all :)

Thank you, I'm passing this along.

I may close the blogs until tech can look at this closer.

I use AVG Anti-Virus and got unsafe warnings at every 3FC blog I tried to go to today.

Suzanne 3FC 06-26-2010 11:11 PM

It definitely needs to be investigated.

I just got off the phone with IB tech, and they will check it out.

Unfortunately I am unable to shut the blogs down in the meantime, but hopefully everything will be ok. I'd probably play it safe and avoid the blogs for now. We'll update you after Tech fixes the problem.

We appreciate the information!

I have 28 also from Norton. I ignored it since I have never had an issue before today. Just saw it this evening. Popped up twice. It giving names of blogs I haven't even been on, unless those are the titles to the updates of the ones I have visited in the past.

Suzanne 3FC 06-26-2010 11:42 PM

I gather Norton scanned the blogs and they compiled the list from their results, not based on anyone's specific usage.

Hopefully tech will have it resolves quickly.

Thanks :)

Phew, I refreshed a few times shocked Norton was saying this. Then I saw the post at the top of this forum and I realized I should have looked here first.

I'm getting the same thing, 28 threats etc etc. Glad to know I'm not alone!

susiemartin 06-27-2010 07:27 AM

I'm getting the same thing - 28 threats.

Kind of freaks me out but I need 3FC the support & will visit any way

Suzanne 3FC 06-27-2010 08:14 AM

You're ok as long as you are on the forums :)

2Bees 06-27-2010 12:21 PM

Ok Im a day late to the panic party. I just came on to send out a warning.

I'll stay off the blogs-even my own. All I ever got were spam replies anyhow, but that's where I let off steam.

2Bees 06-27-2010 01:04 PM

If the Norton people are the only ones to see the warning a lot of other people are at risk..Can you put a sticky on the blogs link to stay out and a warning in all the forums. Thanks!
