3fc loading issues
 

Okay guys,

I don't know what is going on but ALL DAY today when I have tried to get on 3fc the main page either takes forever to load, or just doesn't load and I have to try to load it again several times. And then, when I finally get through to log in, it takes forever for the boards to load and half the time they don't.

I thought maybe it was an issue with my router, because I am wireless, but I could browse the internet with no issue no matter what webpage I went to...all were fine except this one.

Has anyone been experiencing this same problem, or is it just me?!?!

I've just come onto the site and I'm having the same issues.
Hopefully someone is working on it.

I've had the same issues too. I do hope they are working on fixing this because I'm a total 3FC addict! ;)

Me too! And the diet blogs are SUPER SLOW if they load at all!

I've been having issues as well, for the first time ever!

I couldn't get to the site using the link in my favorites but, when I entered the web address in the search area I was able to get on the site.

I found the answer:

It is talked about halfway down the first page of replies. It's due to the acquisition...

Sorry mods for bringing up something that had already been addressed..it was unintentional :)

If you keep reading that thread, Ruth clearly states:

The site was down from mid-morning about 4. It is still slow so we need to be patient. It has nothing to do with the change of ownership as that actually happened a few months ago and was seamless technically.

The downtime was not due to the acquisition! Must be wonky timing.

Eh I'm still having issues with the blog- still can't get to mine- it freezes up and aborts everytime I go to my blog. I'll try again tomorrow.

It definitely wasn't the acquisition...the technical turnover for that was done a while back. Just some unfortunate downtime which happens every once and again due to a technical glitch (and in my opinion all the more reason to be thankful that the acquisition is going to lead a move to better hardware with more maintenance and support...as 3FC grows, the hardware has to grow with it!!)
