charities allowed?
 

I signed up this week for the Susan G Komen foundations's 3 day walk (60 miles in 3 days). I have to raise quite a bit of money over the next year and I would like to add a link to my signature or to my blog but I wanted to make sure it was ok first. WDYT?

It's an admirable cause, one that I personally support. However, we disallow this on the forum because not all "charities" are legitimate and it's difficult to pick and choose which are allowed . Rather than put ourselves in this position, we have a broad rule of not allowing solicitations to any charity or other cause. This isn't set in stone and we may revise this rule, but for the moment we have to say no, I'm sorry.
