Hey all,
I'm alive! Amazing! I've been buried at work, and trying not to goof off quite so much as before - which means not so much time to lurk and log here. I'm off to a conference in a day or two, and so I'm flat out, but darn it, I'm posting before I get back to work! Of course, I've not been paying attention to the diet, nor have I stayed on the wagon exercising. But this morning I got up and just put in the tape and went. It was weird in a good way. Autopilot included exercising, woo hoo!
Goddess Jess - I saw your early posts this month, and you have every right to all your feelings about what is a tough situation. Your sister is going to have difficulties, and her kid will have to get through them just like she will. Sounds like your whole family is involved, too. Just do your best and don't stomp on yourself too hard while dealing with it.
As for Tofu - I love it! Tiki, try pan frying it in a non-stick pan with a little spray until it turns golden brown before using it. That really takes out the squishyness. Oh, and try to use extra firm tofu until you get used to it - that is much more solid. Last thought, try it with strongly flavored sauces like curry or chili a few times until you get used to it. I posted a tofu curry in the south beach recipe forum that might be worth a shot.
New Folks, Howdy! I notice one of you has an Ostara goal - that's a good idea, since it gives us pagans 8 equal-ish time periods per year to shoot for. Expect me to steal the idea!
Miss you all, hope you are well - I expect I won't post again until next week!
