I am down 1lb today! :cb: and I have been OP all week :smug:
My biggest challenge is the weekends so I made sure to take something out of the freezer for dinner tonight so that I will not be tempted to order takeout food. :D |
Well
I had a small meltdown last night. I was experiencing a work 'crisis' (precieved) and went on a little binge. There were brownies in the house (which we never buy) for an event outside of the house, and they were seeled. Any way long story short crisis....spot brownies....rip open package....eat 4 (they were the 2 bite kind).....realize I am bieng nuts :dizzy: ....stop eating the brownies....call a friend and talk. Now there are some bad points to this story, BUT there are some good ones too. BAD: -binged -dealt with emotions by eating GOOD: -stopped eating (in past would have went on to finish COSTCO size package of brownies) -realization (i figured out what i was doing before it was to late) -called a freind (found an alternate way to deal) Does this mean something is changing in my head? :?: I SURE HOPE SO! tune in next week for more tales and adventures from T |
March Challenge
Here we go again. I didn't do to well with the February challenge, but I'm not going to give up!!

Well, after I got back into my routine I dropped 2 pounds! It was really quick. I ate way to much takeout and Chinese buffet during the move. For the past couple of days I've been only eating at home and drinking lots of water.
I haven't been doing so great with the Dr. Pepper goal, but despite that glitch I've still managed to stay OP. I guess I'm pretty addicted to the stuff. :lol: I'll just keep trying and not beating myself up when I drink more than 12 ozs. |
The scale I use for my weekly weigh-in broke somehow 2 weeks ago. It had me weighing 70 lbs, and that's not possible, so I've been in limbo since.
No clue how I'm doing. Jeans still loose, that's good. We went to Sears today so I could purchase a new scale. Got it home, and it is not working, either. [Crap!] So sometime this week we'll switch it, or next weekend. On Wednesday I go for a Colonoscopy, my first. Might lose a couple of pounds from the prep. My eldest sister died from Colon Cancer at age 56, so I'll be getting regular screening from here on. My goal is to weigh 140 by the end of March. I'm not sure how much I weigh, but don't feel as though I've gained, which puts me at 145. I think. Good luck to you all, and wish me luck on Wednesday! |
tljl - sorry to hear about your meltdown but at least you did learn from it :) You can do it!:cheer:
Hannah, I found it hard to stay on plan during our move too - you don't have time, energy or the good food in the house so you end up eating take out. Morrganna - hope you test results turn out well. |
Every Sunday night I play Mahjongg with some friends. It's always great stress relief and it helps me deal with the rest of the week. We laugh a LOT. We had a great time, but I ate WAY too much. I had a piece of chocolate raspberry cheesecake, a beer, a piece of chocolate birtday cake, a Dr. Pepper and some garlic bread. :fr: What was I thinking?! Today is a new day though.

Hannah - slips happen. At least you are aware and ready to start again today. That's part of the battle.
I didn't eat enough this weekend, and certainly didn't drink enough water. Screwed up last night and had pizza, but I'm going to worry about it too much 'cuz I'm back on track today. |
well, i obviously didnt do so well last week, I am up 2 pounds this week at my weigh ins..WTF. so, i had to readjust my goals for the month. But, this is a new week, so i'm seriously committed to my diet this week. This sucks.

so i lost a pound this week despite a tiny bit of cheating.
technically my scale says i weigh 146 right now, but i decided to be a irresponsible 22 year old and drink last night and my body has totally rebelled against and toxins so me and the toilet have a fantastic relationship today. not fun times and i think i learned my lesson. |
I'm down another 1/2 pound this week. I think I'll walk to school today.
