Week 4 of the August 1st challenge!
Well here we are into the 1st week of July and the 4th week of our challenge. :)
How is everyone doing so far? Anything you did last week that are happy about? What are you doing this week to help yourself achieve your goal? We can weigh in today too or anytime this week if you prefer :goodscale: |
At 163.5 as of this a.m. I had gone down to 161.5, but I felt really tired and literally drained, just dehydrated. I'm drinking lots of water, but just being outdoors a lot in the sun takes it out. Also a lot of exercise drains glycogen and the water that goes with it. Leading to veiny, "cut" hands and arms. It works for Madonna, I guess, but I don't like that look.
Felt much better today, and had a good hard workout. The non-scale aspects are coming along well: the batwings are gone (thank you triceps pushdowns), loose skin nonexistent, and even cellulite is less. This means my muscle mass is steady or gaining. And I'm getting some delts, too. Heck, if this keeps up and I get my waistline down, I don't care what the scale says. :D |

I am trying to focus on toning and tightening too instead of what the scale says. I went up a bit but I know it is due to water retention so I am not worried about it. I did very well foodwise over the last week but need to increase my exercise :tread: |
I weighed into today despite the fact my body is still full of barium from my upper GI yesterday afternoon. :lol I am down to 213.5 from last Wednesdays 215.5.

haven't weighed in yet. but this week my goal is to move every day for a half an hour at least. I was doing so good with this for awhile and then just stopped.

well scale says 180, i have been obsessing about food less. and sweating all day at work still feels like exercise. lol but it does beat sedentary..

Blaagh! Had a very bad eating weekend - I am dreading weigh in on Monday evening :p
