Noodles- I saw your post in another thread about there being a death in your family- sorry to hear about your DH's Aunt

Unfortunately bumping this thread back up.

I found out today my cousin, who is only 4 days younger then me, has to see a neurosurgeon. He has a cyst on his brain. They may have to do surgery. :(

Sorry Squeak. My thoughts are with you and your cousin.

When we were just a tad younger than you, DH had a false positive on a cat scan and they told us he had a brain tumor. HOPE this turns out to be something similar. If the surgery has to take place I hope it goes quickly...better to get it over with.

Thank you Den & Ellis! It is kind of strange. I am a little nervous (and trying to stay that way), but I am kind of waiting to see what comes of the Dr. visits before I know how bad it is. :grouphug:

Thank you Mette & Heather. My aunt and my cousin's MIL are heading down to see him on Monday. They are still waiting for one dr. to come back from vacation. For now it is just wait and see. :(

But in other happier news, my best friend's aunt who had breast cancer is doing really well. Done with radiation & her hair is growing back.

My cousin had surgery yesterday. He is doing well. They were taking him to the ICU for the night. But the doctor said he got it all. :)

He is doing well. The incision is still draining (ewwwww), but they have had him up and walking a little bit. My aunt is flying back here on Sunday. My cousin lives in Massachusetts, with the rest of us here in Buffalo.

I'm okay, thank you. :) Hanging in there. We've been told (again) that Dad is really going this time, but we'll see. Apparently he'll slip into a coma in a day or two, and that'll be that. :(
