I swore up and down that the people across from my apartment building will be in big poop next time they have a party until 3 a.m. on a weeknight! Last summer they were having parties once per week on a Tuesday or Wednesday night and we spoke to them a couple of times about it.

The next time I am going to get up at 6:30 a.m.after they have been up partying when they have had just about 2 hours sleep and I am going over there to ring their doorbell 20 times until they answer it and then I'm going to say, "oh I'm sorry, did I wake you? Well now you know how I felt at 3 a.m.!!!!!"
  • I had neighbors beneath me that partied all the time and drove me crazy. To get even, I offered to babysit my neice (age 2) and got her up early, let her run around the apt., jump up and down, bang on pots and pans, etc. The one guy came upstairs, knocked on my door, agreed that I had successfully gotten even and promised to do better (which he did!) Gotta love southern men.
  • My TOM can just BITE ME! I hate it, hate it, hate it, always have, and I wish I were all the way through menopause so it would just be over forever. I used to have sparse periods with PCOS, but now with treatment they are like clockwork. Like that's supposed to be a good thing? I'm embarrassed to go to the gym today, it's so bad.

    New BiteMe.

Come to find out when one buys a new phone the volume control
is pre set... Okay I can hang with that...however...

2:07 a.m. found me asleep. Which makes it a banner morning. New
phone on the bedside table [y'all know where this is heading
right?] RINGS WITH A VOLUME LEVEL THAT SHOULD HAVE WOKEN YOU
    GUYS.

Wrong number. Private Caller. No way to return the favor. No
words emanating from the wrong number, private caller, at 2:07 am
    in the flippin morning.

    Bite Me.

2:15 till 2:30 found me resetting the volume and ring controls.
2:31 till 4:10 found me reading with occasional bursts of rather
rude language....couple of suggestions as to where I would like
their phone to take up residence...

fwiw Missing Pieces; Joy Fielding is quite tasty.

  • My boss and his #$%@& procrastinating can bite me - I now have twice the work to do on a file because he put off filing some documents-GRRRRR!!!!!!
  • I definately say bosses can bite. hubby went to work yesterday and was told no thank you, and the boss couldn't even fire him himself. sent someone else to do it. funny thing is he has been making them mad money lately. near was we can tell one of the other artist who had only been tattooing for 5 months, was intimidated/jealous. but it really sucks things had been going so good. and i just started school. now this stress.
so today i am lighting the candles, burning the incense and singing to Gaia for good job vibes. hopefully he can find another shop soon. but oh i hate bosses today!!!!
  • That really bites!
  • Mauvais : tell me about it. and between me being po'ed and now worried about money, is getting hard to keep my hubby from getting depressed. and he just got over a really big one.. grr tnt tattoos can bite my ***!!!
  • Today I'm not too fond of husbands. Actually, I'm still mad from last night. *L* See, a bad time to pick a fight with your already crabby wife is right before she is about to go to bed, late when she has to get up early the next morning. Especially when the fight is about my diet. He apparently thinks it's not a "real" diet because it's not atkins and I allow myself to eat wheat bread? Grrrr. And then he said he was going by Kripy Kreme this weekend and would bring me back one, and why should I think he's being unsupportive since it's not a real diet anyway. (I'm doing south beach, i'm on phase two)
Grrrr to him. He can so totally bite me.
  • Heather, sending you hugs and prayers, sweetie.

Mauvais, I think we need to revive the Nurturing the Nuts thread. I'll dig it out or start a new one.
  • Lizzi! Give me your husband's work number and I'll give him a piece of my mind!
  • Ellis - Thank you! See, I'm right to be annoyed and ggr-ful then. He needs a smack, I think.
  • I think a new Nurturing thread is order Ellis - post away!!!!

I feel like smacking your hubby Lizziness! GRR!!!
  • Proof positive you all are kinder women then I am....

Nurturing is much_nicer then the Blow It Out Your ***, Dear
    thread I would have suggested...

wonders if she can say *** here..
  • We're not kinder than you at all, Skew, darling. We just forget ourselves at times, and turn into whinging b*tches (which we're not allowed to say, but I think "***" is fine). We thoroughly enjoy whinging (don't we Squeak and Mauvais), and an occasional reminder to nurture is much needed. snort.
