Weekly Weigh-in June 29 +

WOO HOO!! First week of South Beach done and I have lost 5 pounds!!!!
That in itself is enough of an upper to help me get through week 2!!!!!:D

Ruthxxx 06-29-2003 12:33 PM

Great, Den!
I am still 203 - over two weeks now with no loss!
However, I start South Beach on Wednesday so......

mauvaisroux 06-29-2003 08:50 PM

Congratulations Den! :hat: What a great start! :cp:

dentrassi 06-29-2003 09:36 PM

THANKS!! You both have seen me start and stop MULTIPLE times. Hope this one is it!!!! (Ruth-It is GREAT!!! And you can have wine again in week 3!!!)

mauvaisroux 06-30-2003 10:33 PM

Woo hoo! I lost another 1/2 pound :cb: I am slowly making my way to the 10 lb mini goal :D

I am now at 164 lbs!

Sojourner 07-01-2003 12:40 AM

Ummmmm....

I'm stuck, stuck, stuck in a rut. But its my own fault since I haven't made any effort to actually, well, lose any weight. Holding strong at 174.

dentrassi 07-01-2003 05:35 PM

YAY MAUVAIS!!!!!!

mauvaisroux 07-02-2003 07:27 PM

Thanks Den! :D

How is the South Beach Diet going this week?

squeaker 07-02-2003 07:56 PM

Congrats Den and Mauvais! :cb:

Sojo & Ruthxxx - Maintaining is better then gaining!

I hit 170. I am going in the wrong :censored: direction. I think I am going to try WW. It seems to be a diet I may actually be able to stick with.

ginya 07-02-2003 10:18 PM

well, back from Toronto with lots of work! Just had the 'official' weigh in at Dr.s and am down 12 pounds this month. so, I made the goal! Thanks for the support.

mauvaisroux 07-03-2003 04:02 PM

Way to go Ginya! :cb:

Awww....Squeaker :grouphug: hang in there girl :mouse:
My best advice about WW is to make sure you are serious about it-it takes some work i:e grocery shopping, meal planning and acquiring new healthy habits but it is worth it. If you do it in a half-a$$ manner then you probably won't lose and will be wasting your money (moi :ink: speaking from my own experiences- )

Make sure you are doing it for the right reasons and for yourself and make the commitment - :D

dentrassi 07-03-2003 07:35 PM

Ginya-YAY!!!! Good Going!!!!! (Did they quarantine you again?!?)

Squeak-YOU CAN DO IT!!!! Just come in here and SCREAM AND YELL when you want to eat bad things....helps sometimes!!!!!

Mauvais-I think I am actually detoxing!! I have always been a crunchy/salty snack fanatic, and I sat on the same couch as my Doritoe eating family a few nights ago and didn't have any!!! They smelled good, but I didn't really want any. This is almost miraculous for me!!!!

Ruth-Did you start today? How is it feeling so far? I know you are used to low carb so it might seem pretty normal to you.

Sojo-Maintaining is GREAT!! I gained all my weight back + 5lbs before I started up again.

squeaker 07-03-2003 09:54 PM

Thanks Mauvais & Den. :)

I need to do something, almost none of my shorts fit. I refuse to buy bigger clothes. And I can't go around naked everywhere...

dentrassi 07-05-2003 04:15 PM

Squeak-Well PERSONALLY I'd kind of like you to go around naked everywhere.....

Ruthxxx 07-06-2003 06:25 AM

Ahem! I am 198 as of this morning! That's from 205 to 198 since Wednesday! SBD really works for me - although giving up the vino must have helped.
