Sunhats!!!!:D

I have worn my sunhat while walking to work 2 days in a row and boy have I gotten looks from men and other women. Nothing like a cute hat to make you feel confident, feminine and sexy! :devil:
Oh, yeah and to stop your scalp from burning too :dz:

According to my Mom, there was an article recently in the Citizen on hats. The writer said something to the effect of, "When men see a woman in a hat, they just want to take it off and f*** her." !!! I couldn't believe they would use that word in the paper!!

Thanks for the link, Ellis! I actually forwarded it onto my mom as well - she quit smoking last year (after almost 40 years of smoking!!!) & she gained some weight in the process. She asked for a pedometer herself because she read about the 10k steps per day (I think in Prevention magazine) - I got her one for her birthday, so she should find that interesting, too!

And thanks for all the positive feedback, everyone! It really is an amazing feeling to have an epiphany like that, and though it has only been a few days - I haven't wavered once!

I'm part of this Old English Dance troupe and one of the uniform requirements is a straw hat. ANY hat as long as it was straw was fine. Everything looked dorky on me (and I LOVE hats) until I found a sweet little cowgirl hat. Now, I wear my two little braids down the side and my cowgirl hat and boy do I get attention!

Gee, I must start wearing more hats!

I feel good about myself today because I gardened for two hours and then stopped to take a relaxing bath before dressing for my music lesson. I put on sandals and a summer skirt and felt very glam - even in Smiths Falls. (They probably thought I was going to a funeral!)
