Squeak-Lots of good wishes from here too sweetie. (I think YOU are pretty special too!!)
Sojo-Hope everything went well yesterday. Let us know how you're doing. |
Thank you Den for the thoughts & wishes. :)
I just figure she can use all the good thoughts she can get. In the last year or so there was a heart attack, bypass surgery, a heart transplant, lots of hospital stays, and a car accident. |
Doesn't it seem like all the bad stuff always happens at once? I really hope the good stuff starts for them soon.

Hey Squeak, sorry to hear about your friend's misfortunes-I hope something good turns up for them soon. Sending prayers for them :grouphug:

Thank you Mauvais. :)
Den - it is way too much bad stuff. She is handling it very well, but it is just getting to be way too much. |
Hi!
Well, the surgery went very well and we had some surprising news. The doctor told us that they redid the dye tests and that my tubes were not blocked! Everything looked healthy so they didn't surgically touch the tubes or ovaries. Which either means I was miraculously healed or the original test was wrong (which is kind of unlikely since they originally tried to shoot the dye through twice). I'm inclined to believe in healing, since I've had a zillion people praying for me. They found a little bit of endometriosis, which they burned away. The surgery wasn't too bad since I was out cold, except they used a breathing tube and I was parched and could barely speak the rest of the day. After the surgery they had me pumped up on morphine, which was actually pretty great. When they sent me home I was popping pain pills every four hours and pretty much slept for two days. Now I am feeling a lot better and am off the pain meds. Just slightly sore at the two incision spots. Glad its over though and the results were such a great surprise!

Sojo- I am glad your surgery went well :) That was quite the surprise, does this mean you will be able to get pregnant?
Still sending you good healing vibes for a speedy recovery :goodvibes |
Sojo... so glad that things went well.
xoxo :grouphug: |
Yippee! The prognosis for pregnancy is good. (You do know how to do IT?)
|
Sounds good Sojo - I'm really glad! Now you take care and rest up! Lidian

I am very glad everything went very well Sojo!!
|
Great news Sojo!!! You've been through the painful part, and next you'll start the FUN part!!!! :D
|
Yeah, well the first few months of trying to conceive was lots of fun and then it just turned into this emotional roller coaster every month. I'm really hoping we don't have to go through another year or more of that. :(

Sojo, et al. I just saw this thread and I am glad for all the 'good endings'. An hope the best for all the "still in process" ones. I just had my Lap and some surgery and am in the holding pattern for 3 months before I get the full hysterectomy.
Sojo...I feel for your conception woes, hun. The Hub and I went through that...gee seems so long ago......about 8 years ago. (I am getting old) and we tried and tried. One doc said I was sterile, the other say I wasn't. I did the pills, the shots, everything and nothing. We went 4 years straight with NO birth control of any kind, prior to starting these fertility things...and still nothing. I made a personal goal to have a baby by the time I was 30. Well we found out at 29....1 month before I turned 30, that I was indeed sterile. I am past 30 now. Feeling fine about being kid free. But I still have the ache once and a while, though I know I can do nothing about it. I just love on the kids around me and that fills the gaps. Sooooooo....I know the feelings, and the pain. And my hopes, prayers and thoughts are with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEY Have an extra one for me and love it like the dickens!!!!!! |
