Capris...
 

I'm only 5 ' 1", but I really like capris or crops and own quite a few pairs. Yes, a lot of them hit my ankle and I can't wear those. But some are cut shorter than the others. And yes, obviously they look better on taller people but so does pretty much every other item of clothing in existance. :rolleyes: I like capris in the summer better than shorts... not so casual and I don't have to bare my thighs. :o I purchased some very flattering capris at Lane Bryant, they are very straight with a flat front but flare ever so slightly at the bottoms with a side slit... very nice and I actually get compliments on them.

I also wanted to complain/brag that in about another five or so pounds I will have sized down out of the plus sizes! The other day I was at Lane Bryant and all the shirts were too big and the waist bands in the 14 pants are getting too big! :faint: But that means I am about to enter never never land... because there is this sizing gap between the 14 pluses and the regular 14 sizes... at least in the type of clothing I like to wear. So I'm going to have to lose weight quickly at this point or I will not have much to wear this summer. :(

Sojo, that is so good. Ah to hit a 14. I got one pair of shorts that are a 14 and they are sorta tight but I can get them on. I can't wait til the day that a 14 is confortable on me.

^5 Sojo! I dream of a 14, I have quite a few 18's that fit now and I can wear an XL top. Thrilling!

Wish that a xl top would fit but hey when you have huge boobs there isn't much that will fit. Oh to loose those boobs.

Speaking of huge boobs... I'm also thrilled to report that mine are continuing to SHRINK!! :dance: Yesterday I tried on an old 38D bra and it fit perfectly. So now I am down from a tight 40DD... whoo hoo!

I got a catalog in the mail this weekend that is full of the cutest clothes.. think it is a Newport News Boutique, I would love to order some stuff but by gosh I refuse to get anything in my current size. I have to go purchase a couple of thing for the graduation lunch and for graduation but other than that NOPE no can do. They have some extra wide leg pants that I would love to have in black thou..... and some shirts.

I wore the heck out of some pink and purple as a teen but now... ummm no I am a black, brown, gray, red earthy tone kinda chick. I found some black pants at JCPenny's in the junior department, didn't try them on so they may be going back tomorrow.
