Default Weekly weigh in or measure in April 20+

I figured I should post this before today's food and other fun things begin.

I am currently the same at 163. I am happy with that since I ate a lot of bad things this last week.

I'm the same as last week. I'll take it. 135 lbs.

Starting over this week. I have 2 months to drop 10 lbs.

I evened off - UP! Nanaimo bars and ham salad lept into my mouth! I'm 210 this morning but have finaly normalized my BGL. That IS progress. Now to work on the chub!

Oh My Nanaimo bars????? Send some my way! I was dieting all last summer so I didn't have a single one on any of our trips to the cottage! Now I can't wait till the end of May when we open the cottage up...and now make a trip to buy bars! LOL! Well I have only been back at this since last wednesday & I am down 3 pounds, although only was even all weekend, but I guess even that is OK for a holiday weekend! Not to mention the stress my idiot of a boss has put upon the entire office on Friday which looks like there will be no end in site! But that is a whole other story that should probably be posted on some murdering support site! LOL!

Honestly, I give up really trying. Not that I don't care any more, I just get too frustrated. The one time I did lose a lot, I wasn't trying. It was mostly my lifestyle that lended itself to losing, which I no longer have. I will continue to watch what I am eating, so it doesn't get out of hand. And I will continue to come here because you girls keep me sane. I am very glad if I do lose, but I can't continue to set myself up. I am only 10-15 off of where I want to be.

Angry Hey...

Hang in there Squeak... its a process and we believe in you!

I am down 1/2 pound, which is probably a miracle since I ate WAY too much this weekend. Even went to McDonalds and had large fries and a quarter pound cheese burger, which I rarely do. Plus I had two pieces of pie after Easter meal. Oh, plus had tons of buttery and salty movie popcorn and peanut M&M's. Oh yeah, and a chocolate cream filled donut. And a turtle scone and cafe latte. Yes, this is all in two days. What was I thinking?? Ok, my excuse is that it was a tough week for me.

But darn it! I am only 1/2 pound away from that 20 pound mark! When will I ever get there?? I had really hoped it would be this week. But I sabotaged things this weekend. WHY??

Wait until the summer, Squeak... we'll all be MUCH more active, and a little fat will just JUMP off our bodies!

To my surprise, I lost the 3 pounds I put on during the Easter weekend. So I'm back to just below 190. Again.

Sojo... this is going to be a good week. Don't stress... you can DO it!!

I don't know where else to post this, so I would just like to let all of you know that it is going to snow tomorrow. 5 to 10 cm. I could just cry.

Ok, I went from 278.75 to 276lbs. That is a drop of 2.75lbs. Not what I wanted but it will do for this week.

Talking Good News!

Ta da da daaaaaaaaa.... I am so unbelievabley thrilled to announce that

I have lost my first TWENTY POUNDS!!

I can hardly believe it, but today the scale finally read "178". That means I have lost a smidge over 10% of my body weight, which means I have actually lowered my risk for all sorts of diseases and health problems. To lose twenty pounds took me eight months... yes, it was a bit on the slow side but they say that is the healthiest way to do it. I have never lost this much weight before... I am so proud of myself! And I really owe so much of it to all the wonderful support and encouragement here at alternachicks! Thank you thank you thank you!
