Just so you know, the stuffed french toast at IHOP is just as good in real life as it is on the commercials!

It must be where you live Flower, because I wasn't too impressed with the stuffed french toast. Maybe it's because mine is soo much better when I make it at home.

For some reason I have been off plan on and off again for 2 weeks. I think it is the weather. It has been dreary and I am drained of the energy needed to work out. I have not been going !! Today is Friday. I only worked out Monday and Wednesday (which was only yoga). I can't stop, I am not done! I just got an order of clothing. Everything is medium or size 8 and they are too small to wear. I did this on purpose to encourage myself. I have done so well dropping 20 pounds and from a a 12 to a 10. Help please!!!! This weather is KILLING me!! I'm dying to go outside and dig in my garden or rake up last years leaves or something. ANYTHING for some outdoor exercise!! And it's SNOWING, for cryin' out loud!! 15 to 25 cm we're supposed to get today. I can't believe it. Sorry Sandi, you wanted a boost... ummmm, can you get to the gym today for a real workout? Sometimes you just have to get started and you realize that you just needed that PUSH to give yourself some energy. How about going to the grocery store with a new recipe? Something really healthy and yummy. (I know what you're thinking) Only pick up the ingredients for the recipe... no snacks or other shopping for boring stuff. And pretend you've got your own cooking show, and are being televised. Set out all your equipment, put on some nice music, and really enjoy making the meal. And then eat it. One portion only for you, huh? Don't be eating the whole damned thing. :D Sorry, that's all I can think of right now. Not doing too well myself... maybe I'll do the TV show thing! :grouphug: |
Don't forget the fancy apron. And instead of a glass of wine (too many wasted calories), have an elegant wine glass on hand filled with water. Maybe with a slice of lemon or lime in it.
And turn on all the lights if it's gloomy out. Maybe light a candle. Maybe wear some fancy rings and paint your nails something funky so that when you're chopping the vegetables your hands look very flashy. And make sure your kitchen is clean before you start. There's nothing worse than trying to make a meal in a messy kitchen. (hmmm, maybe that's why I never cook...) I'm really getting right into this... |
.....and don't forget to narrate to the audience while you are preparing your meal. I GUARANTEE that whoever is around will leave you alone for the rest of the day.....

I had a blizard at DQ, but that was my dinner. A small one. So...I don't feel that guilty about it.

I resisted DQ yesterday as hard as it was there was a blizzard sale goin on. I guess those oreos will have to wait.
