My mom was an overendulger when it came to liking something. She tried Heavenly Hash ice cream ONCE and we had it for 3 months straight. I can't even stand the sight of the stuff.

Mums favortite treats for us were the following:

Boston Cream sandwiches: Marshmallow cream and peanut butter
Chocolate ice cream or the blasted Heavenly crap with crushed up potato chips
Grilled cream cheese with tomato

Well actually my gran on my dads side was from Wales so her 'snacks' were more mini meals like french fries with gravy made from guiness (was my fav)...very few sweets from her except devon cream or lemon curd oh and I remember hobnobs (a kind of cookie) and shortbreads too which she'd bring along with her during her stay in the winter (Can't find that wonderful devon cream here in the states...probably a good thing....I'd never diet.

My Moms-mom gran favs:
Sweet potato pancakes with guava jelly
Fried green apples with maple syrup
Chocolate mayonaise cake

Note: I eat NONE of the above now. I do miss imported yummy's, but only because I didn't get them as often as the other artery cloggers.
