Angry Well...

its not that I think its reasonble for individuals to sue companies over issues like this... but there is something inherently wrong with multinational corporations making billions of dollars by marketing and selling products that will kill you. Thirty years ago, doctors were actually advising pregnant women to have a beer and a cigerette to help them relax. Tobacco use will kill you... and the fact is regularly eating fast food will eventually kill you as well. I agree that tort law is completely out of control... but I do think companies like this have to be held accountable in some capacity.

If I am a Pastry Chef, can I sue my employer for making me taste each dessert and pastry I make??? OR the Chocolatier who brings me chocolate samples???(this is actually considered a perk to some)

I think there are more pressing issues for these parents of the girls to look at than blaming McD! What is going on in these girls minds and hearts? Are they looking for something to fill a void? There is a reason that most of the world is overweight, and maybe we need to figure that one out before placing blame.

My son has learned from me the pitfall of comfort foods. When he and the daddy have a fight he heads straight for the chips or ice cream. We celebrated his first Happy Meal as a baby!

I grew up in a South Georgia town that did not even have a fast food restaurant, so we ate home grown veggies and fresh killed meat. So it is not always what you grow up with that is the problem.

Those parents need to "look outside the box".....
