Hello...I really could use some motivation, please.

  • Hello, I'm Chris and I'm a lifetime member of WW's. I've been doing fine over the years with managing weight. I always go up in the winter and lose it in the summer.... This year's been different. I've been suffering from depression b/c of "things" and so the weight creeped up a little earlier than my usual X-mas time. Shortly after I started that battle. we got word that my FIL had pancreatic cancer. I fell hard into depression and finally went on medication to help take the edge of everything. We have since lost my FIL and I'm still dealing with my "issues". So, I really haven't been motivated to crack down, but I'm tired of tight fitting clothes. I joined WW's again a few weeks ago but I got discouraged after a bad weigh in. I think I'm still in pity party mode. The meds help and I will be on them for a while....the pain is still there. Sorry this is soo long. Just looking to vent! I guess I'm looking for a little lift.....

    I know what you mean about a bad weigh in but there is always today to get back on track. I wish you the best of luck and am so sorry about your recent loss. That is never easy to deal with. Try a little exercise. That is a good form of "depression medicine". Also, it does help to vent and talk about what is on your mind.
