Den-Glad your mom is doing okay.

Ellis- sending :goodvibes: to Dougie for a successful operation.

Kat-hope Joan is doing well.

Prayers & good wishes for Monique, Joan, Den's mom, Mauvais' friend & Dougie.

If I was into organized things I would probably be a Quaker (it's in my ancestry awhile back anyhow) and they believe that we all have an 'inner light' inside us. If we can send that out I am sending some of mine to you and to your own light.

Wish I could be there to help and listen. You are all in my thoughts!

Love, Lidian

Mauvais and Lidian... thank you so much.
I like that "Quaker" idea. :)

YES!! Thanks to all of you!! And I'm thinking of and sending out healing vibes for Dougie, Joan, Mauvais' friend (How is she holding up?)

My friend seems to be holding up okay and going about business as usual except for the many doctor's appointments she now has to attend to make sure everything is okay. I think she is getting sick of looking at doctors and just wants everything over with so she can move on. Her and her DH want to try again.

Thank you Den and Squeak.

Mauvais, I'm glad your friend is doing okay. I'll keep her in my thoughts...

Ellis-any news on little Dougie yet?

ellis 12-12-2002 06:30 PM

I'm anxiously awaiting news, Mauvais. Thank you for asking. :)
Hopefully my sister will learn something tomorrow... I'll let you know as soon as I hear.

More bad news...

my grandmother passed away yesterday. I am very sad... she took care of me as a young child while my parents worked. She was 92 and not doing well, so it is better this way. However, it is still very sad. The funeral is on Saturday.

squeaker 12-13-2002 06:45 AM

I'm so sorry SoJo :(

Oh, Sojo... I'm so sorry. Love and prayers, sweetie. We'll be thinking about you this week.
:grouphug:
How wonderful that you have such good memories to keep with you always.

Wanttolosealot 12-13-2002 08:09 AM

Sojo,
I am so sorry sweetie! I wish there was something I could do for you. I was not fortunate like you to have grandparents alive for me. My last living grandparent, me mom's mother passed away when I was only two, and really do not remember her well. My mom was 43 when she had me and my dad 46 so their parents were much older than that.
You were so lucky to have her in you live, to love and be loved by her must have been fantastic. Remember all the wonderful things about her life and your life with her. Celebrate her life, do something today that she will look down on you and say "that's my girl"!
Sending you big warm hugs!
Virginia
