May Challenge!

    Intro stolen from the April thread.


    On to our monthly challenge.

    If you would like to join please post your goals for the month. They can be about losing lbs, focusing on exercise or anything else you find important for your personal health etc.

  • Stolen from last month, mine are:
    ~Make sure I take my Vitamins every day
    ~Walk for at least 15 minutes EVERY day
    ~Make sure I eat 3-4 servings of fruits & veggies every day

    I completely blew it last month, but that is ok. I am going to do better this month. I haven't really gained. I still hover around 218 (+/- 2lbs.) But I am determined to do SOMETHING! I work better at small steps then diving in head first. It has only taken me 5 years to figure that out.
  • Back after a looong hiatus.
    I don't know if anyone around here remembers me, but I see a few familiar faces.

    - Lose 8 pounds.
    - Eat my veggies and fruits every day.
    - Retune my sleep schedule.
  • I am in for another month.

    -Exercise! This month I'm going to break it down into 9 days of weights, 8 days of Yoga, and 7 days of Cardio. 24 days total of exercise.

    -Calories. I'm aiming for 1600. I was way over my 1700 last month and gained, so got to get this back under control.

    -Weight. Lose 4 pounds. I haven't had a weight goal the last few months and I think it has made me not try as hard. 3 of these pounds are what I gained last month plus one more for good measure.

    I"m up for a challenge too!

    My goals:

    Drink my 8 glasses of water each day
    Keep my food journal faithfully
    Lose 4lbs
  • Well I"m a bit stressed for the next week - I"m going on vacation and I"m not sure what will be available to eat. Where we are staying is mostly hotels and a conference centre and then apparently a really unsafe neighborhood and there doesn't appear to be a grocery store close by - ugh!

    Hopefully if I drink a lot of water and exercise while I'm there it won"t be too bad -

    Let's see... I did one of those things successfully (vitamins). The other 2 .... not so much. Those were a bit more hit & miss. But I am still in the same weight range. *sigh* I know that isn't awful (better then gaining), but it isn't good either.
  • I hear ya! I have stayed the same -but I guess that is good since I didn't eat well on my vacation. I guess I'm going to start from scratch again in June. I am determined to reach my goals by Jan 1.
