Hobby time

  • Think I mentioned in the regular threads that I finally got the newest quilt on the bed . . . It's a brightly coloured Crazy-style quilt made by the Stack and Whack method. Quick and fun to do. After I took a couple of pictures of it, I decided to take the spread off my guest room bed and take a picture of the Log Cabin that's on there that I made a few years ago. That's one of the Bengals on there, using the bed as a springboard to get to the window-sill. On the table is the centre of another partly completed quilt that's been on the go for a couple of years -- don't know what ever possessed me to make a pink quilt, I'm so NOT a pink-person.

I have quite a few more that I use regularly and many, many more in various states of completion packed away in several places. I've been an avid quilter since the early 80's.

I also do a lot of other 'needlework' stuff -- knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching -- and I do some tole painting as well -- yes, I actually do have a life outside of 3FC.

Anyway, how about showing us some of your favourite handiwork, too.

  • Your quilts are beautiful. When you finish the pink one send it to me. I am so a pink person. I made a few crazy quilts years ago when the kids were young but haven't done any for years. I'm afraid I'm all thumbs when it comes to needlework but I know how to do the basics of knitting.
  • i would love to start quilting! But I don't have the patience I'm afraid
  • Hobby time is important to me, and gambling has become one of my favorite ways to unwind. I love the excitement and the thrill of trying new games. Recently, I found a really helpful source https://1winwebsite.in/ that’s full of tips and information about different games. It’s made my hobby even more enjoyable because I now feel more confident when I play. With the right knowledge, gambling has become not just a pastime, but a fun and rewarding hobby that I look forward to every day.
