CLA - fatty liver
 

apologies if this has been thrashed out before,

first post too,

I have fatty liver disease,

in my quest to lose some weight (at least 30lbs over weight), I have been taking CLA, Conjugated Linoleic Acid.

There seems to be a real mix of information out there for this supplement.

from what I have read, most liver problems with CLA (increase in size, fat) have been limited to mouse model. I say most.

Seems if there is a mix of isomers, all is ok

sometimes can feel the odd pain where liver is, like aching pain, then paranoia kicks in.

Am taking vit E, schizandra, cranberry, use Nutribullet too, so try to look after liver.

does anyone have other data on CLA, or, first hand experience using with fatty liver

There are herbs that have a proven track record in treating liver cleansing/disease (milk thistle, for example is the only cure used in Europe for certain types of liver poisoning).
