I had been 1200-1600 for a year and no loss, then a thyroid crisis that put me in Mayo Sept 29 2013 just now getting meds where I have energy. I do the low cal only from time to time as MD said that is what it would take to lose. I am hungry with that and do not do it for long, just trying to bump cals up and down with no lower than 900 and no higher than 1600. I am eating more balanced than ever in my life, with almost no added sugar. I am 5'2" 172..... Thanks for any input..I think my metabolism is just messed up royally!!!

Wow...thanks for sharing with us Deelou and all the difficulty you are having with dieting. Frustration must be something you know so very well. I wish I knew something to share with you in order to help you out and find happiness again.

It's weigh-in day for me and scale says down 1 lb. Yippee! Little by little, I am getting there. :carrot:

Well, no change for me this week...I expected it as I did not really watch my diet. Will do better this week.
Yes, Corinna, we are having an extended period of cold weather. Lots of snow and ice...we have generators so we are fine. |

Looks like I.m going to be stuck in the house for awhile. We are expecting 12+ inches of snow tomorrow. This is when I start to eat poorly....looking for comfort food :(

Keep yourself busy doing something fun. Play music while cleaning house, or find someone to skype with, read a good book, play some computer games, call a friend you haven't talked to in a while and catch up, start a new project and make something (out of clay, painting, crochet, etc), make some homemade valentine cards, etc. Find some exercise videos on line and give them a try. :exercise: Think of something fun to keep yourself busy and focused on something else. |
