Default Movie - FOOD INC

OMG. So a friend told me i should watch this movie. I did this past weekend and now I am so freaked about food that today I spent 2 hours in the grocery store reading labels. I have never liked veggies or much of anything good for me, but after watching this movie I swear I am ready to plant my own garden.

Has anyone else seen this movie? I think it is about 4 years old bur I must have missed it when it came out. Seriously, it really does change the way you think about food!!!

Yep, planting a garden is a great idea ! Back in the Nixon era, the government started focusing on making food cheaply. Over time the Frankenfood industry grew and it soon became a radical idea to eat "real" food. Now people are learning that the FDA is not about health, but about sustaining industrial food companies Also....and here's the rub... we (as tax payers) subsidise the foods that are making many of us us fat and/or sick.
