Hi all! Seems like a good place this!
I am 78 and have fybromyalgia too with other ailments that leave me somewhat disabled. So exercising is not in my capabilities other than a very slow hobbly walking! ..
My weight has been rather stuck for quite a while but I am keeping to my calorie count diet and hoping that it will decide to shift again soon.... ever hopeful!?! ..
Welcome Emaline29 and I wish you well and happy trails on your journey. Are you able to swim? I know that there is a workout on PBS I see every once in a while for people with Pain. I know that you are going to do great! I am glad that you are joining us.
G'day everyone, and welcome to the new, I hope everyone is doing well and staying focused and keeping on track, I have been good the last couple of days, and I have a weigh in tomorrow.
I have been busy studying so that is always good when I study I forget about food. Keep up the good work all, and it is great that we are all in this together and I have gained so much motivation and inspiration here so far
Goodmorning everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I was good as well, Julie. I stayed on plan, even though the Superbowl was on and there was lots of junk food floating around my home for the game. I have my weigh-in today, and I'm uploading my progress photos. I've lost a lot this month, and I hope that the progress is reflected in the pictures.
Uggh. I'm up one pound, back to 217. The progress photos didn't show what I thought they would (I can't see too much of a difference). What a bummer! Anyway, here's to a better day today.
Hang in there Rob. I'm down 15 and not seeing any real difference either, but I have found a few things that do seem to fit not quite as snugly. I find that I have to get to a full 10% loss before I notice much of a difference - and almost twice that to legitimately move down a size in clothing.
Thanks, April. It's just disappointment rearing its ugly head that's all. Ironically, when I committed to doing monthly photo updates on my blog, it was for this reason. I thought that if I failed to meet goals and/or expectations, it was for all to see. Now it's time to double down for March.
Good morning, afternoon, evening or whatever the case may be
Hello everyone , I hope everyone is feeling motivated and focused today. Rob I wouldn't beat yourself up over a pound, it could be fluid weight, and I know you will do better next weigh in. My weigh in wasn't to good either, I didn't gain but I didn't lose either, oh well next week is another time. I just had a lovely Thai Curry Tuna and Veggie stir Fry for lunch, and I have a had a good morning studying.
Argh!! Up and Down and Up and Down on this darn scale. Argh!! It is very frustrating and makes you want to throw your hands up in the air (oh wait... if I do that then I can put weights in those hands LOL) and Eat eat eat. Argh. I more day to see if it will go back in the right direction tomorrow. Just need to do this today. Mantra....
I'm with you. I have a love/hate relationship with my scale. Sometimes I approach it gingerly, softly stepping up on it in an effort to weigh less! lol
Well after going down 1 up 1 down 1/2 and then up 2 (argh) finally it that darn devil box moved to a lower number.. I think I stared it down LOLOL
Looking forward to the next battle with that devil box
hello everyone, it seems like we are all on an a yo yo string at the moment, at my weigh in last Wednesday I was up 500grms thats about half a kilo, I put it down to water weight well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it . Here is hoping that we all have a better week this week, good luck to all, take care, stay safe and be happy
