Morning GOLDEN GIRLS Well today is another beautiful day here. I get to join the DL (disabled list for non-baseball fans LOL). Last week we did a fabulous hill walk and I noticed my knees were not too happy with me -- but that's not unusal so I sort of ignored - did well in my cardio and definition classes and then yesterday in the pilates class I must have hyperextended my GOOD knee and its all sore and swollen and horrible looking -- sighs!!! So I just have to rest it for a few days get lots of ice on it and take some advil -- I hate this I just get into the groove of working out and my damn body lets me down. My sweetie says I must have put more strain on my good knee and it just couldn't take it. Oh well - have to reduce the eating to compensate.

Ella -- happy unpacking (is there such a thing??) I say spray away with the butter stuff I use a becel spray and LOVE it!!! Send me an e-mail but are you interested in other doilies -- several years ago I was trying all sorts of projects and I did doilies -- I have no idea why and I believe they are all still stored away. Now they aren't ivory or white - I believe I did some in peach and others in varigated cotton. If you are interested to add them to your bedskirt I would be more than happy to donate them to your project. LOL I can just see you "Peach who would make Peach coloured doilies??"

Settie -- all I can do is send hugs from Vancouver to Winnipeg. Is your dad at VGH? Does your mom have someone out here? This will not be easy for any of you until he is home safe and healthy. Please keep us posted and don't turn to food -- it will only make you more miserable (trust me I know only too well). The weather is nice go for a walk -- clear your mind do anything but stuff food for comfort.

Lyn - I am so sorry I dropped the challenge -- I have never been very good at challenges and I should have known better, but I just love being in contact with all of you as much as possible. LOL maybe I will just hang out on the sidelines and cheer everyone on.

Paula -- YAY on one more gone!!! Take care

Bobbi -- I figured you were busy with the rummage sale glad you decided to add your "stuff" to the sale -- keep us posted.

Ok off to another day!!!

Hi All,
I have a question, anyone here 60? I feel so old when I read some of these forums although I do get major motivation and information from them, and how do you get the trackers?

Thanks
JPS

It is very much like starting the first one. Go to 'Announcements and Forum Help!' - it's the first forum. Scroll down to the 'sticky' posts and open 'How to add the weight-tracker code to your signature'. I think you'll be okay from there. The instructions are quite good.

Hello, Golden Girls.

Lyn,
You take care of that knee! You know you only have 2.
Oh I love the pics too.

Joanne,
Oh! Enjoy those missing inches. A WAIST LINE! That has got to be a great feeling.
The only inches I have lost much…The Boobs and legs!
My tummy does seem a LITTLE better. My chest is really shrunk, Soon I will HAVE to get new bras. I don’t know how it will feel to buy one that’s not a Double DD. Can’t wait!

Ella,
I use the spray butter with NO calories everyday! What would I do with out it?! And I get those hungry days too. About once a week.
As long as I keep it with in about 1600 calories and healthy, I don’t worry.

Sounds like you have a great big office. I hope you have fun with it.

Lynn,
You always sound like you are having such fun. Going here and there. All that walking counts too.

Paula,
Congrats on the pounds off!
Just a little more incentive to behave at your party.
I am glad your dad’s doing better. I will keep up my prayers.

Bobby
Your sale sounds like tons of fun! I love going to them. Sounds like a Big sale too. Wow, I don’t have that much stuff in my house. I am the opposite of a pack rat. Hubby gets so mad at me. If I can’t use it… the goodwill can.
Have fun with it.

Well I have to leave for work in a few.
Later ladies.

Good Morning Everyone,

I couldn't get to sleep last night - VERY tired this morning. Oh well - off to exercise & then to scrapbooking.

I did a lot of cooking yesterday. I found this website that will email you a weekly menu of lo-carb dinners along with a shopping list. I made 3 dinners yesterday - black bean & cauliflower stew; turkey w spinach & spaghetti squash; and crustless quiche. I plan to eat well today

Don't forget to re-join the Challenge (remember you don't have to lose anything to win this challenge - all you have to do is plan your fun, exercise, and eating).

Have a happy and healthy day,

Lynn
